With breathless anticipation (not to mention tightly bound corset) every sense was heightened … Feeling very much out of my depth I stepped through the looking glass into an alternate reality of vintage gods & goddesses at the 2nd Vintage Manchester Awards.

Bewitched by the magic & madness that was the Vintage Manchester Awards 2013, there really was no turning back. As a proud nominee in the Best Newcomer category The Showroom Online – me, The Mother & Miss Temi – were in attendance to enjoy the Las Vegas themed night & all the glitz which transported us all back to some good old fashioned entertainment.

Some personal highlights included being seated with winner Gwyn of Vintage Afternoon Teas & her charming troupe of friends. Gwyn charmed the rest of the room as she graciously & tipsily accepted her well deserved award. There was also ravishing in red, Christine of The Fabulous Times & of course meeting charming photographer Gareth Davies who worked tirelessly & captured the night so perfectly. And not forgetting the hilarious & bewitching Miss Kiki de Ville who presided as Mistress of Ceremony.

Nominees, winners & guests were treated to burlesque from Ginger La Rouge (now I want to learn burlesque), cocktails by The Drinks Enthusiast (heavenly hangovers) & the most divine chocolates by Drop Dead Chocolates; I think it was forest fruits being the most drop dead divine of all!
